In an increasingly globalized world, the need for proficiency in English and English language teachers worldwide is on the rise. In response to the global demand for qualified ESL/EFL (English as a Second Language/English as a Foreign Language) teachers, the Faculty of Education at Western University is offering a Master of Professional Education (MPEd) in the field of TESOL. The Master of Professional Education in the field of TESOL is a dynamic program designed to help language teachers develop the required competencies to become effective English as a second or foreign language (ESL/EFL) teachers. This program is designed specifically for international candidates who wish to enhance their ESL/EFL teaching skills, increase their level of language proficiency and obtain a master's degree in TESOL. For conditional admission, applicants must have a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 overall and 6.0 in writing.
